Tough Day for soccer and baseball!

Never lose site!  Tomorrow is a new day and a new game.

It was a tough day for the EHHS Eagles on the soccer field Tuesday.  After a shutout the previous day against Pearl Cohn of 8-0, the Eagles struggled with exhaustion and injuries today and just couldn't get it going. Finishing with a loss of 4-0 today against Harpeth.  JV took a loss with 4-1.

Do you know the average soccer player clocks between 6-8 miles per game depending on positions? The midfield marks the higher mileage with strikers normally close.  It is the highest mileage of all sports that I could find. I guess that explains all the tape on their cleats by season end.

Even during a roll, Defender, Robert Richardson managed to keep a dead eye look on the opposing player.
